Performs routine and custom maintenance jobs such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform excellent internal/external guest service;
• Physically respond to emergency situations; i.e., fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair;
• Service and repair air handler units;
• Install and repair plumbing;
• Repair and install new or damaged equipment, such as: ceiling repairs due to water leaks, lighting repairs, fixtures, kitchen and other equipment;
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner;
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School/GED or Tech School degree

• 1-2 years related experience or special training in all areas of maintenance;

Preferred:

• Bilingual preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record;
• HVAC and electrical certification preferred
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Casino environment: exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise, may be exposed to extreme temperatures
• Must be able to stoop, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Carry and climb ladders
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 lbs
